Many emerging diseases spread rapidly due to the cross-borders movement of millions of people per day taking place internationally [1]. To control the spread of diseases, the health officials may have various pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical options in terms of wearing masks, closing schools, isolation and staying at home etc. [129]. Media plays a very important role to communicate awareness in public for use of non-pharmaceutical interventions (NPIs) to control the epidemics [130, 136-141].
