ABSTRACT
My introduction to the work of the Amsterdam School (AS) occurred during my master’s study. After the initiation period, I gradually began to define my own position, profiting from the inspiration that the approach offers while also beginning to move beyond it. What follows is rather a personal account – fragments of an incomplete journey based on three critical exchanges, as I recall them, and the strands of research that I embarked upon as a result.
