ABSTRACT
260‘Love-Letters’ was first published posthumously as one of the short stories in The Histories and Novels of the Late Ingenious Mrs Behn: In One Volume (1696). The work appear as a last-minute addition, printed with The Lucky Mistake after the advertisements which followed The Ladies Looking-Glass (La Montre in Works of Aphra Behn vol. 4).
