ABSTRACT

C. Taylor had a life long passion for workshops and industrial organization. Gaston Berger, like Doctor Andre Gros, was the founder of the Futurology Research Center, in collaboration with a great number of prominent personalities of the scientific, industrial and political worlds. Scientific management will leave the sphere of enterprises, and be on the same level as nations, in which "politics" or "policies" had so far been predominant. Management which, just like organization, the running and the conducting of firms, would not qualify as an exact science, is increasingly assuming a scientific character. Many training, medical, ergonomical units and, industrial co-partnership and profit sharing units – being essential principles of management – have been created in major industrial, administrative or business enterprises, in the United States as well as in Europe. One must confess that in spite of efforts on both sides, sociologists and philosophers are belittled within enteiprises.
