ABSTRACT

The Slovenian business and economics literature speaks extensively about successful transition, but with a limitation to transition by changing the institutional framework; innovation, business, and quality are considered separately. The management literature frequently tackles innovation, business, and quality, but again, more or less separately from the problem of transition. Slovenia has been spending the past twenty years as a country/nation investing big efforts in the formation of an entrepreneurship-friendly economy. The nineteenth-century Western-style capitalistic abuse of legal rights for the dishonest quick enrichment of some entrepreneurs and the abuse of masses of employees was quite frequent. New measures are expected to support socially responsible development. Ethics is a crucial emotional aspect of human attributes. Along with the other subjective and objective components, the business ethics makes a holistic/synergetic base for modern working conditions and behavior of enterprises.
