ABSTRACT
At the end of each year the seminar members produced a statement which captured the conclusions of the group. The first paper has been included in various chapters and introductory sections of this volume. The second statement was placed in two position papers developed for specific political arenas. They are produced here in the Appendix. One is a national summary about gender-related housing and was included in the briefing papers for the National Platform Committee of the Democratic Party in June 1984 (see Appendix A). The other paper summarizes the New York City situation and was offered as testimony at the New York Department of State hearings on the Feminization of Poverty in June 1984 (see Appendix B).
