ABSTRACT

Professional work is based on science, service, power, and efficiency. It deals with social, natural, technological, fictional, and ethical elements, all of them at the same time. A teaching professional is required to master computer-based teaching requirements, which entails one's competency in the field of IT. This chapter suggests that the premise to the effect that engineering is, in actual fact, technical expert work which is grounded on sound science and instrumental logic. According to the traditional model, the services come first and only after that can the questions about the applicability of the side constraint requirements be activated. The same logic applies to the medical emergency care: an accident victim must be helped first and only then can the questions, say, about the existence of the patient's insurance policy be raised. The chapter is based on the following idea: Strategic instrumentality is itself a heterogeneous element in professional life and therefore the public trust on it is misguided.
