ABSTRACT

Human action is characterized by praxiological and ethical dimensions. The praxiological ones are effectiveness and efficiency, while the ethical one is ethicality, so the approach based on these characteristics is known as the "triple E" approach. This book, dealing with human action in business, is composed of business student's contributions. Even those who, like Bill Gates, try to encourage business people to do their businesses at the "speed of thought", use praxiological arguments not without some ethical flavour. Streamlining administrative and internal business processes is important to improve the overall efficiency of employees. Giving knowledge workers good internal tools also sends them a subtle but important message. Companies talk about rewarding initiative and keeping workers focused on business. When employees see a company eliminate bottlenecks and time-draining routine administrative chores from their workdays, they know that the company values their time and wants them to use it profitably. The ethical fragrance stems from happiness of employees, customers and other stakeholders.
