ABSTRACT
The authors share personal experiences and those of others who have worked with children from low-income families to highlight the lack of funds these families have for digital devices. The digital divide in schools is also examined. Wraparound environments that offer medical, dental, nutrition, tutoring, and other community services are described as showing promising solutions to current problems associated with the digital divide.
