ABSTRACT

In drawing this volume to conclusion, this chapter invites the reader to explicitly return to the central questions raised in the introductory chapter. It steps back to analyze the emergence of high-school-for-all across the region as a whole, working comparatively to sketch out answers to this volume’s central lines of inquiry. These answers remain tentative, however, underscoring the need for future research that goes deeper both empirically and theoretically, as well as engages with the epochal shifts now underway in the era of ongoing globalization.
