ABSTRACT

High-voltage Circuit Breaker (CB) is one of the most important components in a high-voltage circuit. In the process of operation, spring faults such as spring deformation and spring elastic weakening may occur and affect the performance of the CB. Moreover, research on the mechanical characteristics of high-voltage CB can reflect more than 80% of the operating states. CB is one of the most important electrical equipment of transmission and distribution power system. With the improvement of the transmission and distribution network automation and reliability requirements, the reliability of the CB itself is also increasing. Regarding the fault diagnosis of high-voltage CB, the main research hotspot and emphasis is on vibration sensors to test the vibration signal if it is decomposed, extract the feature vectors to achieve fault signal diagnosis, and make some research results. The chapter analyzes the trip signal of the CB in the mechanical vibration signal and proposes a method to process the stroke signal.
