ABSTRACT

The CAE Intelligent Assisted System (IAS) is an auxiliary software system, which can help a user complete the project analysis quickly and effectively. The problems of CAE are more and more outstanding, such as learning difficulties, complicated operation, and lack of professional talents. The use of CAE software is rapidly expanding in the manufacturing industry. Through the analysis of use experience of CAE software and interviews with FE analysis, the authors have thought that the reasons for the difficulty of CAE software are more functions and complex operation. Many people learning and operating the CAE software are nonprofessional in finite element. The basic function of the system is realized through the mutual cooperation between the modules. Usability test is a form of evaluation of the system. The error rate was gradually increased, especially in the meshing, mesh refinement, establishment of the coordinate system, and setting of the boundary conditions.
