ABSTRACT

The paper presents author’s contribution to tackling the underlying paradigm of strategic management in the 21st century that seeks and finds the answer to the question of sustainability of human civilization on the planet Earth. The only alternative is change in creation and distribution of wealth/GDP on the planet/on state level/ business level. However, as shown by critical analysis of empirical data from 90’s in Slovakia; privatization of strategic enterprises has caused irreversible strategic decisions. Enterprises are in hands of multinational corporations, with support of state subsidies, grants and tax breaks, while often produced added—value/profit are directed into tax havens or their national economies. For these multinational corporations, our citizens are just cheap labor,”raw material”that after use becomes”waste”. Ergonomics programs based on the HCS model 3E, as an integral part sustainable corporate social responsibility, suggest solution.
