ABSTRACT

The aim of paper”Transition from functional to process management”is business process mapping and creation of a process map in an optimized form. The first part is intended to provide theoretical analysis of given problems. The main emphasis is put on the distinction between functional and process management, process analysis and mapping and approaches to process improvement. The next part deals with analysis of processes in the company AAA, a.s. and the design of process maps. The closing part of the paper summarizes achieved and expected costs and benefits linked with the implementation of process management in the company.
