When the air is inspired also small particles in there are inspired. These due to the small dimension and mass, they are suspended in the air and can be dragged in the natural air currents.11 The respirable particles, depending on their dimension, can deposit throughout the respiratory system and only the smallest ones can penetrate until the end of the respiratory system.12
