Wearable technology usefulness for occupational risk prevention: Smartwatches for hand-arm vibration exposure assessment

The performance specifications and tolerance limits for instruments designed to measure human vibration exposure values are described in the ISO 8041: 2006 Standard. The vibration range of the signal affecting the hand-arm system is from 5.6 Hz to 1400 Hz, the amplitude range must be at least 60 dB and linearity error amplitude should not exceed 6% of the input value including the transducer and the analyzer.
