ABSTRACT

McClure & Turner (2003) made it clear that the risk-taking behavior could explain the high consequences of road accidents of vehicles owned by young male drivers. They tried to find out to what extent it is possible to explain the differences in risk-taking behaviors and differences in the level of accidents according to age and sex. They found that the means of males were higher than those of female in aggression, sensation seeking and accepting risk taking in general. Many studies have shown that the percentage of male taking the risk is more than the female’s ratio (Kass, 1964; Lasorsa & Shoemaker, 1988; Bush & Iannoti, 1992).
