ABSTRACT

In order to study the integrated prevention and control technologies of coal mine goaf water disaster in the Linfen mining area, China, based on the characters and classification division of the water disaster, technologies such as surface survey, surface comprehensive geophysical detection, integrated prevention and control were proposed. The results showed that, goaf water disaster was the most serious water disaster in the Linfen mining area; the surface survey was the basis method to determine the range of subsequent geophysical detection; and, in order to reach the aim of fine detection, comprehensive geophysical detection should be adopted with the Transient Electromagnetic Method (TEM) and the Controlled Source Audio Magneto-Telluric Method (CSAMT), to detect goaf water disaster. In addition, methods such as boreholes drilling certification, geophysical detection under coalmine, and exploration could be referred in the explanation of geological results. Last but not least, the mainly integrated prevention and control technologies involved TEM detection on the heading face and the mining working face, boreholes drilling drainage, and chemical prospecting of goaf water. These technologies and methods have been applied in the Linfen mining area and achieved good results.
