ABSTRACT

The paper presents the approach to evaluation of rarely analysed problem of the influence of imperfection of supported plate edges on dynamic response. Three-layered annular plate supported on inner and outer edge is the subject of the analysis. The problem has been solved analytically and numerically modifying the equation of the shape function describing the preliminary plate deflections. The shape of the geometry of the plate cross-section has been disturbed. Both axisymmetrical and asymmetrical forms of plate buckling were investigated. The obtained results show the dynamic sensitivity of analysed structure inaccurately supported.
