ABSTRACT

The socialist state production enterprise is the basic unit of the national economy in the USSR. The enterprise will acquire rights and duties stemming from its production and economic activity and will become a juridical person on the day that its charter is approved. The personnel of the enterprise are obliged to take good care of state property, to utilize the buildings, structures and equipment properly, and to observe strict economy in the use of materials. The plan targets fixed for the enterprise must be coordinated and must provide for full utilization of the production capacities. The enterprise will conduct capital construction and reconstruction of its fixed assets by contract with construction and assembly organizations. Plans of capital repairs and the corresponding financial estimates are approved by the director of the enterprise. The production, financial and economic activities of the enterprise are audited as a complex by the superior body once a year with the participation of the organizations concerned.
