ABSTRACT

Every time there is a decision to be made we have a choice and that choice will depend on our judgement of a particular set of circumstances or facts. However, as Transpersonal Leaders the important thing to consider is whether we are making the right choice from a radical, authentic, ethical, caring, sustainable, emotionally intelligent and performance-enhancing point of view and in the interests of the organisation and its stakeholders. Caring: primarily showing kindness and concern for others, often for others who need support, but also a care for the things that will create a better world. However, similarly to not confusing empathy with sympathy. Radical: a move away from tradition and the expected through innovation or progress. This is not about "throwing out the baby with the bath water" but challenging the status quo and questioning the value and validity of how we do things.
