ABSTRACT
In continuous improvement by improving continuously (CIBIC), development always precedes deployment, unless special conditions exist. While development is the practice of evolving, acquiring, growing, refining, and maturing to promote the pursuit of a chosen objective, deployment is the direct action, motion, and movement that create the desired change. As the direct precursor of deployment, development promotes the pursuit of the chosen objectives through direct acquisition and refinement. At the heart of the CIBIC development system is the comprehensively elegant EDGE framework. As a critical endeavor, the development of both the inner drivers and outer qualities is essential to the pursuit of excellence. By highlighting key system attributes that solidify and reinforce the longer-term retention of key development concepts, CIBIC promotes the pursuit and excellence and continuous improvement in a new and exciting way. The visualization elements are designed to convey the dynamics of CIBIC using illustrations that promote comprehension and retention.
