Case Illustration — An Exploratory Literature Review

This chapter and the accompanying video demonstrations illustrate a straightforward qualitative data analysis for new qualitative researchers or researchers who have not yet used NVivo. The contributing author is Elizabeth Pope, a PhD candidate in Adult Education at the University of Georgia. The case illustration is the literature review for her dissertation, which is a qualitative case study examining an interfaith dialogue group. The chapter describes the objectives and guiding methodology for the literature review and the analytic plan for the review, which unfolds in six stages.
