ABSTRACT

Nowadays the term quality of life has been used in a variety of ways to characterize our daily life. In the mass media, mainly in marketing, it can be associated with the quality of a product or used as a keyword in a political platform. When considered academically, it has been given a large number of definitions based on different approaches. Evidently, the attempt to give a precise formulation to the term quality of life must capture its ambiguity and complexity rather than hide or eliminate them.
