ABSTRACT
This chapter presents a survey of the mobility of performing arts productions from Flanders. The investigation tracks and logs the growing international nature of performances and performance tours. Central questions are the relationships between the experiences of transnational artistic production and the experiences of art, and the value and roles of art in societies in situations where significant geographical and cultural mobilities are involved in their conception.
