ABSTRACT

This chapter is an attempt to further dialogues between artistic and academic practitioners who work with mobilities. It is based on conversations with contributors to this book. In the text I propose to convene re-negotiations of disciplinary boundaries drawn between arts, social sciences, science, and technology. In a similar vein I argue for the importance of ‘lower theories’ operating beneath or between disciplines, rather than grand narratives. The text ends with a short manifesto on organizing, consisting of three questions and statements that aim to provoke or stimulate leaps of imaginaries embedded in research and art practices.
