ABSTRACT
The chapter is based on a research project that explores the spidery and entangled lives of unconventional elderly people in Copenhagen, Denmark. Building on material produced through long-term ethnographic fieldwork, the aim is to address the pivotal relation between small-scale mobile practices, sociality, and the everyday lives of elderly citizens on the margins of society. The work unveils the existence of unnoticed geographies not discernible by the ordinary big city dweller, and my chapter presents insights into a non-transparent part of society that is constituted and maintained through mobility.
