The following examples of building types indicate the range of rates for alternative design solutions for each of the engineering services elements based on Gross Internal Area for the Shell and Core and Net Internal Area for the Fit-Out. Fit-Out is assumed to be to Cat A Standard. Consideration should be made for the size of the building, which may affect the economies of scale for rates, i.e. the larger the building the lower the rates.
