ABSTRACT
In this chapter, an introduction explaining the nexus of nanotechnology and its impact in hyperthermia-based therapies is discussed first, then the mechanism for MNP-based hyperthermia and hyperthermia-based drug delivery is described. And then, an evaluation of certain recent studies on this topic is provided, and finally, the challenges of this treatment and also a future outlook of the prospects in this narrow field are provided.
