ABSTRACT
Ecology derives from the Greek term oikos, meaning home. But there is another common word that stems from the same root: economy. How do ecology and economy relate to one another? What might they both have to do with religion? This chapter seeks to explore the intersection of these three fields of study: religion, ecology, and economy.
