ABSTRACT

When Anne Schwartz took a job as a package driver at UPS she had no way of knowing that she was embarking on a career that would last more than twenty-seven years and take her through four promotions and six moves throughout the United States and Asia to her current role as vice president of global leadership and talent. Today she is responsible for the global training and leadership development strategy for the largest package delivery company in the world. She has gone from being responsible for the safe delivery of several hundred parcels each day to supporting the success of more than 400,000 employees in 220 countries.
