ABSTRACT
As is true with any publication, we cannot cover all the issues that might be of interest to managers as they go about their work. In our own work we have found other theories and ideas that have helped us in our management and consulting practices. The many publications, which are listed in the bibliography, that are directly related to stratified systems theory have been important to us. In recent years Jaques chose the term ‘requisite organisation’, but the content is typically relevant to our work.
