ABSTRACT

We have already highlighted that a new way of working for HR will only succeed with support from the business. Using a definition of the service based firmly on business needs is the key to ensuring that the service delivery model will work. We have described in detail the implications for a new way of delivering service on the role of HR and the way it is structured. Changes in the HR delivery model will also have knock-on implications for the role of the line manager and the way they manage their people.
