Politicizing Territorial Governance: Embedding the ‘Political Economy of Scale’ in European Spatial Policy

Current developments, such as constitutionalization and reforms of key policy areas affecting spatial development, are introducing significant changes in the political geography of European governance. There are, however, different possible consequences to the way we look at these developments in view of the prospects of European spatial policy and planning.
