Each neighbourhood can be personalized by its occupants so that a small work team or community can function within a defined space, yet still belong to the organization as a whole. Neighbourhood materials forming fences and borders in the M TV office are deliberately friendly and low-tech, ranging from mosaic tiles to canvas curtains and lashed bamboo (see page 92).
