In September 2002, United States intelligence agencies discovered that the Army of the Republika Srpska (RS) was selling military equipment and services to Iraq. This discovery came to light while Iraq was under a United Nations arms embargo and during the early Bush administration build-up to the war with Iraq, so the United States government did not take it lightly.
