ABSTRACT
In this section, I have included examples of moderator skills which are commonly in use in many contexts. I have divided my comments into general remarks on facilitating an online group using a text-based tool, and then go on to comment on techniques for moderating which are specific to forums, blogs and wikis. You will find more on the design of activities for developing online communication and collaboration in Chapter 14.
