BIRMINGHAM AND WEST MIDLANDS COUNTIES FLOUR MILL WORKERS ASSOCIATION Reg. 1678 The association seems to have been formed and registered in 1918, its secretary being Robert Wharmby at 56 (and later at 117) Ryland Street, Ladywood, Birmingham who was a vigorous polemicist for the workers in the trade. It was a founder member of the Joint Industrial Council for the Flour Milling Industry, but its registration was cancelled by request in 1921.
