Phase locked loop based on reference current under unbalanced and distorted grid

1 INTRODUCTION

With the development of Distributed Generation Systems (DGS) based on renewable green energy, electric generation situation has changed rapidly (Acuna et al. 2014). Most of the technological challenges involving new scenario are being solved through technical solutions based on the power electronics control field. One of those challenges is to synchronize the generated voltage connecting with the grid voltage. For this aim, the information including the phase, the frequency and the amplitude of the fundamental component of the utility grid voltage should be acquired quickly and accurately (Guerrero et al. 2008).
