The random forests model of detecting network-based buffer overflow attacks

With the rapid growth of computer system, more and more issues have been concerned. Currently, the problem of vulnerability exploits becomes worse, and buffer overflow attacks are among those various possible threats that can be launched against computer systems. The danger of buffer overflows is that attackers can potentially execute code of their choosing by placing their code in the overflowed memory space, thereby compromising the computer system (Chun-Chung Chen et al. 2010). So buffer overflow vulnerability still affects the current network and distributed system security.
