ABSTRACT

This chapter deals with theoretical substantiation for reforming the main socioeconomic institutions in order to step up innovation activity. A regional eco-socioeconomic system includes the following main subsystems: economic, environmental, social and innovational including the economic growth dynamics, living standards and quality of life, environmental conditions and level of the innovation potential and innovation activity. The variants of further development of the economy taking the current foreign economic conditions and sanction impact on creation and development of regional innovation subsystems are described. Priority innovation development is mostly implemented due to internal innovation potential and efficient managing influence. The chapter provides the following structural elements: knowledge generation, educational sphere and process of human resources administration, innovation product fabrication, innovation infrastructure. Objects of innovation infrastructure which provide interrelations between the participants of the innovative activity are created regionally to remove the above-listed obstructions and to support the established innovative enterprises.
