ABSTRACT
The contribution is focused on a spatial investigation of current socio-economic urban change crossing the administrative boundaries of the municipal and metropolitan area of Milan, along one of the most important historical industrial axes for the Milan urban region. Through three subsequent temporalities the contribution emphasizes the general features of capitalism as a spatial pattern of urban production and social systems.
