ABSTRACT

The traditional research process is riddled with inefficient and frustrating challenges. This chapter presents the electronic portfolio (ePortfolio) as a contemporary strategy enabling both the PM researcher and the supervisor to better manage the complex process. The ePortfolio is an Internet-based repository of the research effort. It becomes the single source of a real-time, workin-progress and provides a ‘one-stop-shop’ for any reviewer. This strategy includes a reflective component, developing the PM ‘lessons learned’ mindset, by having the researcher document the process. The ePortfolio is flexible tool that can be designed to fit any PM research methodology.
