ABSTRACT

Physical attractiveness is one of the most visible and obvious traits we possess. It conveys information, both accurate and inaccurate, and plays a tremendous role in our interactions with others in our personal and work lives (Patzer, 1985). There is evidence that our physical attractiveness plays a significant role in what people expect from us, how people respond to us, and what decisions are made about us by ourselves and others. “What is beautiful is good” depicts the attractiveness stereotype.
