Managing Diversity: Research and Interventions

The purpose of this chapter is to integrate a number of the issues, perspectives, and findings discussed in chapters 1 through 12 under the general heading of “managing diversity.” That is, we will use organizations’ efforts to deal with the increasing diversity of the U.S. workforce as a springboard for discussing interventions and strategies for dealing with many of the issues and problems described in the preceding chapters.
