A Science Museum Exhibit on Milgram’s Obedience Research: History, Description, and Visitors’ Reactions

In 1992, to honor its 100th anniversary, the American Psychological Association (APA) launched a museum exhibition titled Psychology: Understanding Ourselves, Understanding Each Other. The exhibition opened at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., where it attracted many enthusiastic visitors, as well as high praise from psychologists, the media, and the museum community.
