ABSTRACT

The word teamwork implies that what a team does in order to function as a team is not necessarily easy. Statistics citing failures in teamwork also tell us that it cannot be considered a natural process; teamwork does not just occur when two or more people come together to do a task. Defining the process that teams use to get their jobs done has been formidable. However, as more and more of the business of our daily lives becomes dependent on what teams do, the definition and measurement of their processes becomes increasingly important, no matter how difficult the task.
