ABSTRACT

It is a great pleasure to have the opportunity to discuss three very stimulating chapters. But I think I should first make one disclaimer. If Henry Braun had given a more detailed biography, you would have noticed that I have never done research in this area. And you could have gotten a hint from the Statistics degree part. My specialty-if there is a specialty-is statistical inference, specifically Bayesian inference, and you might wonder why, given my background, I am standing here being a discussant. I feel very honored to have this opportunity, but you should legitimately ask that question.
