ABSTRACT

It is 2010, and the teacher has just finished the first class meeting with 100 students from 15 different nations. During the class, the teacher sat in a specially equipped, wireless computer chair wearing the fourth generation of i-glasses (see https://www.i-glasses.com/) with built-in microphone, which now integrated all telecommunication services including Internet access, telephone, and cable TV. Through the glasses, the instructor saw the faces of the 100 students as they entered the class session. The students were likewise wearing their i-glasses, seeing the other 99 students and the instructor displayed on their monitors. Thanks to iris recognition (Daugman, 2001) software built into the glasses, all students’ identities were verified, and attendance was automatically taken.
