ABSTRACT

This issue of the Journal of Educational and Psychological addresses a major need in the field, that is, the training of professionals in education and psychology for a consultative role. The guest editors, Judith Alpert and Shilpa Taufique, have done an outstanding job of assembling a diverse group of new and very experienced experts to share their perspectives on this topic. The candor with which the contributors discuss the topic should be enlightening to all of us.
